On Tuesday, the Football Association (FA) overturned the red card given to Tottenham forward Son Heung-min for a challenge that resulted in a horrific ankle injury to Everton midfielder Andre Gomes on Sunday.
As a result, Son will not serve the initial three-match ban, and he will be available for Tottenham's next three domestic fixtures.
The incident occurred during a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park, where Son's foul left Gomes with a broken and dislocated ankle.
"Heung-min Son will be available for Tottenham Hotspur FC's next three domestic fixtures after an independent Regulatory Commission upheld a claim of wrongful dismissal," the FA stated.
Following the injury, Son was visibly distraught and inconsolable, which raised concerns about his participation in Tottenham's upcoming Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade. However, he was part of the group that left for Serbia on Tuesday.
Andre Gomes underwent surgery on Monday and is expected to make a full recovery.
