On Tuesday, Charles Odongo, known to many as Ugali Man, was unveiled as the brand ambassador of betting firm Odibets at a ceremony held at the Sarova Stanley hotel in Nairobi.

As part of the deal, Odongo received a brand-new seven-seater Voxy van and a cash boost of Ksh5 million to support his sporting career and fitness business. The partnership also includes a fully kitted gym, bringing the total value of the deal to over Ksh5 million.

Speaking during the event, Odongo thanked Odibets for the support, stating, “I will support my fellow youth from Rongai just the same way Odibets has supported me.”

Odibets General Manager, Dedan Mungai, said the partnership is part of the company's OdiMtaani initiative, which aims to develop talent at the grassroots level. He added that the company has invested over Ksh500 million in the country, supporting various sports development initiatives.

Odibets plans to continue leveraging talent in the grassroots via OdiMtaani as a platform for local and community-driven sports development and recreation.
