On November 4, 2019, Txapita Mobility was crowned the 'Best Startup in Mozambique' for its innovative bus monitoring platform.
The platform allows passengers to track the location and arrival time of buses using their cell phones.
As the winner, Txapita Mobility will represent Mozambique at the Seedstars Africa Summit and will receive an all-inclusive trip to the event.
Additionally, the startup will have the chance to win a spot at the Seedstars Global Summit in Switzerland, where the winner will take home a $500,000 investment prize.
The winner will also receive three months of access to the investment readiness program.
Other notable startups that participated in the competition included Milliban Technologies, Design Thinking, Ethale Publishing Lda, POSsoft Multiservice, Explicador Inc, LDA, Txapita Mobility LDA, TxekaMoz, and Somodec.
Seedstars World will next visit BongoHive in Zambia to select the best startup in the country.
