On November 1, 2019, Ricardo Marques Ferreira, a celebrity hairdresser and friend of Cristiano Ronaldo, was found stabbed to death in his hotel room in Zurich's Albisrieden neighborhood.
Ferreira, who hailed from the island of Madeira like Ronaldo, had worked with the Juventus star on several occasions, including a photo shoot in 2015.
According to reports, Ferreira's body was discovered by a cleaner in the early hours of the morning, and Swiss police have assured that the killer will be brought to justice.
Ronaldo has yet to comment on the tragic incident, but fans and friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to Ferreira's life and work.
