Liverpool vs Aston Villa: Sadio Mane's Late Goal Saves Reds

On November 2, 2019, Liverpool's Sadio Mane scored a late goal to secure a narrow 2-1 win over Aston Villa at Villa Park.

Reds were on the brink of defeat after Mahmoud Hassan opened the scoring for Aston Villa in the 21st minute, but Mane's goal in the 87th minute turned the tide in favor of Liverpool.

Mane's goal was set up by a cross from Trent Arnold Alexander, who had been fouled by Sadio Mane's opponent, a Scottish fan, earlier in the game.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported that Bournemouth had beaten Manchester United 1-0 in a Premier League match at Vitality Stadium, with Josh King scoring the only goal of the game.

Manchester United had missed several chances to score in the first half, with Andreas Pereira and Fred both having opportunities to score.
