On November 1, 2019, Tanzanian comedian Sultan Idriss found himself at the center of a controversy that would change his life forever.
Idriss had created a series of photoshopped images, one of which featured his head superimposed onto President Magufuli's body, and another where Magufuli's head was photoshopped onto Idriss's body.
The images were seen as a joke by many, but they did not go down well with the authorities.
According to reports, Idriss was arrested for committing the 'capital offence' of photoshopping his head onto Magufuli's body.
