Generito Yosores, a 64-year-old tuk tuk driver from Zamboanga del Sur in the Philippines, has achieved a remarkable feat by graduating with a degree from a top university in the country.

Yosores, who has been working as a tuk tuk driver by day and student by night, has been a source of inspiration to many with his determination and hard work.

He financed his studies by driving a tuk tuk and using his meager senior citizen monthly allowance, and has now been awarded a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English, from the Western Mindanao State University-Molave External Studies Unit in Zambanga del Sur.

Regina Menioria, external studies unit coordinator at WMSU-Molave campus, praised Yosores for his achievement, saying that his story is an inspiration to many.

Yosores' inspiring story made rounds on social media after a portrait of his graduation was posted on Facebook, and has been compared to other remarkable stories of people who have achieved their goals despite facing numerous challenges.
