Published on November 1, 2019, media personality Willis Raburu has been under pressure from fans to have a child with his wife Mary.
Despite the pressure, the couple has chosen to ignore the critics and focus on their own journey.
In an interview with Word Is, Raburu shared his thoughts on the matter, saying, 'One of the greatest things my wife has taught me is to be happy at whatever state we are in. So we don’t really pay attention to pressures.'
He also acknowledged that society does put a lot of pressure on people to bring forth children, but emphasized the importance of being sensitive to people’s feelings.
When asked about his readiness to be a good father, Raburu expressed his eagerness to one day hear a little angel call him 'daddy' and to build on the example set by his own father.
Married to his wife in a private ceremony in May 2017, Raburu described marriage as an 'amazing experience though challenging,' and shared the biggest lesson he has learned so far: to listen to not just each other’s voices but hearts as well.
He also spoke fondly of his late colleague Hussein Mohamed, describing him as 'the greatest of all time in every sense of the word.'
