Spanish winger Ferran Torres has become a highly sought-after player in European football, with several top clubs vying for his signature.
Among the interested parties is Liverpool, which has joined the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona in the pursuit of the 19-year-old Valencia star.
Torres has made a name for himself in La Liga with his impressive performances, providing five assists and scoring three goals in 63 appearances for Valencia.
His impressive form has not gone unnoticed, with the Spanish national team calling him up for the European Under-19 Championship in July, where he scored a brace in the final against Portugal.
Despite being under contract with Valencia until 2021, Torres could be made available for €20m (£17m) next summer, sparking a transfer battle among the interested clubs.
Despite boasting a strong attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino, Liverpool continues to be linked with attacking reinforcements, with Jurgen Klopp's main back-up including Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, and Rhian Brewster.
Earlier this summer, Liverpool focused on signing up-and-coming prospects, including Dutch defender Sepp van den Berg and 16-year-old attacking midfielder Harvey Elliott, who became the Premier League's youngest ever first-team player in May.
