Apple's latest iOS 13.1.3 update has been met with widespread criticism from iPhone users, who are reporting severe battery drain issues. The update, which was rolled out last month, has been linked to a significant decrease in battery life, with some users experiencing a 65% drop in just 30 minutes.
According to reports, the battery drain issue affects a variety of iPhone models, including the iPhone 6, iPhone 7, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Users have taken to social media to express their frustration, with many claiming that their phones are draining faster than ever before.
One user, @MoD989, tweeted at Apple Support, 'When are you gonna have a fix for that battery issue? My iPhone keeps draining when not being used and no apps running in the background!' Another user, @tanveerbhurani, reported a similar issue, saying, 'After 13.1.3 update battery drain like F1 Race. Whats wrong. 100% to 35% just in 30 min.'
Apple has yet to release an official statement addressing the issue, but users are urging the company to take action. In the meantime, some users have suggested switching to Dark Mode, which has been found to increase battery life by up to 30 percent.
