On Friday night, a gang of thieves struck in Dandora Phase 1, Nairobi, stealing a car from a garage where it was being repainted.

According to John Mwangi, the car's owner, he had parked the vehicle at the parking bay and gone to his house, only to wake up on Saturday morning to find it missing.

Mr. Mwangi told Nairobi News that he had tried to ask his neighbors if they had heard any commotion during the night, but no one seemed to have any information.

He then proceeded to Kinyago police station to report the theft of the Probox car with registration number KBS 296G, and was issued with OB number 16/26/10/2019.

Just 24 hours earlier, another car theft had been reported at Kariobangi police station, where a DX Toyota Car with registration number KBH 349N had gone missing.

Mr. Mwangi has appealed to anyone who finds the stolen car to report it to the nearest police station.
