On October 25, 2019, a gazetted notice was published by Public Service CS Margret Kobia, announcing the termination of Yvonne M. Musila Munuve's appointment as a member of the Uwezo Fund Oversight Board, effective October 24, 2019.
According to the notice, the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Youth and Gender revoked Munuve's appointment in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 5 (2) (d) of the Public Finance Management (Uwezo Fund) Regulations, 2014, as read together with Section 51 of the Interpretations and General Provisions Act.
Munuve was appointed to serve on the oversight board on July 24, 2017, by the then CS, Sicily Kariuki, for a term of 3 years. However, details surrounding her termination remain unclear.
