Cytonn Ranks Among Top Employers in Kenya ¶
Investment management firm Cytonn has been ranked among the top employers in Kenya for the second year in a row, according to a survey by BrighterMonday.
Released on October 22, 2019, in Nairobi, the survey ranked Cytonn 27th out of 100 companies listed.
Telecommunication company Safaricom emerged as the best employer, followed by East Africa Breweries, United Nations, KCB, and Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) in the top five positions.
According to the survey, employees were most satisfied when they could relate to a company's vision, had full transparency with management, and had flexibility in executing their tasks.
Respondents also sought employers with a competitive pay package.
Senior Brand Manager at Cytonn, Daniel Mainye, emphasized the importance of hiring great people, stating, 'Whichever business you undertake, hiring great people is always the most important task. After all, a company is only as good as the people it keeps.'
He added that Cytonn partners with universities to take in candidates for its competitive internship program, which leads to full-time offers for successful candidates.
