On Mashujaa Day, October 20, 2019, Deputy President William Ruto and his wife Rachel Ruto joined Kenyans in celebrating the occasion at the Mama Ngina Waterfront in Mombasa county.
They arrived in style on a private jet branded Kenyan Air Force, which was a fitting tribute to the country's military.
Deputy President Ruto was dressed casually in a colorful long-sleeved shirt and a checked trouser, while his wife Rachel wore a stunning pink lace skirt suit.
They were welcomed by Nyali MP Mohammed Ali, a former investigative reporter, who was on hand to greet the Deputy President and his wife.
