Published on October 19, 2019, a video has been circulating on social media showing an Administration Police officer expressing her frustration with her seniors.

The officer, who has been serving in Western for 17 years, claims that she has been sent to jobs without allowances, leaving her feeling undervalued and overworked.

She also makes a disturbing allegation that her marital status, specifically being married to a man from the Luhya community, may be a factor in her treatment by her superiors.

‘I’m so tired and if because of complaining I will be sacked I am ready. If my bosses are doing this to me because am married to a Luhya I am ready to go back to my home in Turkana,’ the officer says in the video.

She appeals for help and asks to be allowed to quit the service, highlighting her difficult childhood and the struggles she has faced throughout her life.
