The footage, which has since gone viral, shows the robber speaking with the woman while his accomplice robs a store employee in the background.
According to Daily Mail, the surveillance camera inside the pharmacy where the robbery took place reveals the suspect speaking with the woman, trying to reassure her.
Despite being in a life-threatening situation, the robber even went as far as kissing the woman's forehead, a gesture that has left many stunned.
The thieves managed to get away with goods worth approximately KSh 25,000.
