On October 16th, 2019, Kenyan media personality Tony Gachoka was involved in a dramatic incident at Diani Airstrip, which led to his arraignment in court on Thursday.
Gachoka, the host of Point Blank show on KTN News, was charged with causing public nuisance after allegedly refusing to be screened at the airstrip checking point.
He was also accused of trying to enter a Silverstone aircraft by force while carrying alcoholic drinks, and of being found in a state of intoxication at the airstrip.
Before Kwale Law Courts Principal Magistrate Joe Omido, Gachoka pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released on a cash bail of Sh50,000.
The case will be heard on October 25th, 2019.
