October 18, 2019, marked a Throwback Thursday for Sportpesa CEO Ronald Karauri as he reminisced about his first love - a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII.
Sharing a picture of the silver beast, registration number KAW 777U, Karauri captioned it: "My first love ❤️ #TBT."
As seen in the photo, Karauri's lavish parking lot now houses a BMW 3 series and a Mercedes Maybach S600. He is also rumored to own his dream car, a Bentley Continental GT Speed, a Rolls-Royce, and others.
It's worth noting that Karauri's love for high-end cars predates his days at Sportpesa. In 2018, he was spoilt for choice between buying a Batmobile or a Formula One car. He also lost a bet against comedians Propesa and had to give them his top-of-the-range Range Rover Overfinch.
