On November 1, DStv Kenya will cut off its Compact Plus and Premium bouquet subscribers from History, Crime + Investigation, and Lifetime channels.

These channels, which provided documentaries, education entertainment shows, reality TV shows, lifestyle documentaries, and romantic films, will no longer be available on DStv's platform.

According to DStv, the History, Crime + Investigation, and Lifetime channels will be removed at the end of their current contract term, which expires in November.

However, DStv is set to introduce two new channels to its platform, one of which is an established global brand and the other a new innovative brand.

These new channels will bring exciting new titles and genres, including blue chip documentaries, history, and factual reality shows.

As part of its efforts to refresh its content line-up and optimize the suite of channels on offer, Multichoice Group, the parent firm of DStv, will be saying goodbye to the History, Crime+Investigation, and Lifetime channels.
