On Tuesday, Governor Anne Waiguru was engrossed in a game of solitaire, seemingly unfazed by the turmoil surrounding her. Her husband, Kamotho Waiganjo, however, was a different story.

Waiganjo was visibly agitated, his restlessness a testament to the deep concern he had for his wife. As he sat in the hearing chamber, he was constantly on his feet, eager to defend her against the impeachment threats from the Kirinyaga County Assembly.

Waiganjo's actions were a reflection of the vows he had made to his wife during their traditional marriage ceremony in Gichugu, Kirinyaga County, last year. He was determined to stand by her side, no matter what.

The Kirinyaga County Assembly had threatened to impeach Waiguru, but Waiganjo was not about to let them bully his wife around. He was a force to be reckoned with, and he made sure that everyone knew it.

As the hearing progressed, Waiganjo was seen frequently whispering in the ear of his co-counsel, Andrew Karani. He was anxious to defend his wife, and he was not afraid to show it.

Waiganjo's determination was a testament to the love and commitment he had for his wife. He was willing to do whatever it took to protect her honour and secure her future.
