For many, the idea of losing one's virginity is romanticized in movies and media, with candlelight, roses, and a serenade. However, the reality for some women is far from this idealized version.

According to a recent survey, many women have had painful and traumatic experiences during their first time. In fact, a 16-year-old girl, D.O, shared her story of how her first time was 'beyond painful' and left her feeling like her 'soul was leaving in the opposite direction.'

Another woman, M.A, recounted how her first time was also painful, with her partner telling her to 'relax' despite her being in 'panic mode.' She described the pain as 'excruiciating' and likened it to being 'cut with a hot sharp knife.'

But it's not just physical pain that women have experienced. H.K, a 24-year-old woman, shared how her first time was emotionally traumatic, with her partner being 'the size of my pinky' and leaving her feeling like she had 'absolutely no sensations.'

Then there's the story of E.S, a 20-year-old woman, who had her first time interrupted by her mother walking in on her. The experience was so traumatic that her mother called for a church meeting to 'pray for the demons that were disturbing' her.

Lastly, T.K, a 30-year-old woman, shared how her first time was caught by the police, leaving her feeling 'humiliated' and 'in a state of undress' for nearly 30 minutes.

These stories highlight the need for open and honest conversations about sex and relationships, particularly for young women who may be entering into these experiences without proper guidance or support.
