On October 15, 2019, a notice was issued by Garama Auctioneers, stating that Angela Angwenyi's multi-million house in Jacaranda Gardens estate, Nairobi, would be auctioned due to financial difficulties.
The house, situated along Kamiti Road, just after the Northern bypass, was previously owned by the former Kiss 100 radio presenter.
Angela Angwenyi's company, Out of the Box Solutions Limited, was awarded a contract to carry out a campaign to enhance access to government tenders reserved for women, the youth, and people living with disabilities.
However, the National Assembly's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) stopped payments to the firm after they had been paid Sh. 90.7 million, citing doubts over whether advertisements actually ran as stipulated in the contract.
