Published on October 14, 2019, DT Dobie has expanded the Mercedes Benz C-Class range of luxury four-door saloons for Kenya with the introduction of the C 180, which comes with a 1500cc engine.

The C 180 combines fuel economy with strong performance, making it an attractive option for prospective owners. The favorable price brings ownership of the best-selling Mercedes saloon within the reach of many more motorists.

The latest C-Class range features modified bumpers, radiator grille, and state-of-the-art headlamps and taillights, giving it a sleek and modern appearance.

The new Mercedes Benz C 180 is priced at Sh. 6.5 million, with an option to make a cash deposit of Sh. 990,000 and pay the balance in six months.

DT Dobie's managing director, Ian Middleton, explained the history of the C-Class, stating that its predecessor, the Mercedes Benz 190, was introduced in 1982 and caused a sensation.

The C 180 boasts a range of safety features, including Active Parking Assist, reversing cameras, and a tyre pressure loss warning system. It is also fitted with run-flat tyres for added convenience.

While the vehicle's high price may deter some potential buyers, it is expected to make a significant impact in the 1500cc market dominated by Toyota and Nissan cars.
