Tom Ellis, the actor known for his role as Lucifer in the popular Netflix series, has been spotted on the set of The Flash, a show based on DC characters that airs on The CW.
While it's possible that Ellis was just visiting friends on set, given that both The Flash and Lucifer are filmed in Vancouver, the sighting has sparked speculation that he may be joining the CW's Arrowverse, a sprawling universe that includes Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow.
The Arrowverse is set to expand even further with the upcoming 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' crossover event, which promises to be the biggest yet, spanning five hours and featuring characters from Batwoman and Black Lightning.
With the fifth and final season of Lucifer currently in production, it's possible that Ellis may be making a guest appearance as Lucifer in the Arrowverse, or that the character may be introduced in a future show.
Regardless of the outcome, it's clear that the character of Lucifer has proven wildly popular among viewers, and it's likely that we'll see him pop up again in the DC universe in the future.
