Published on October 13, 2019, a study revealed that colors have a profound impact on our emotions and buying decisions. Colors can make life beautiful and exciting, but they can also be a deciding factor in whether a product or service is successful or not.

Scientists have found that each color has a different impact on our brains, and the colors used for branding and websites play a crucial role in whether site visitors will convert or not. The right color combinations can create a positive effect, while the wrong ones can be repulsive.

For instance, women tend to dislike orange, gray, and brown, but love green, purple, and aquamarine. Men, on the other hand, do not like brown, purple, and orange, but gravitate towards black, aquamarine, and green.

Colors can also affect the mood, with red making people hungry and gray being a dull color when used alone. However, when blended with orange or yellow, gray becomes eye-catching.

According to statistics, 85 percent of consumers say that they bought a certain product based on its colors, while 66 percent say that they only buy a particular appliance if it comes in their favorite color.

Businesses and brands become more recognizable not only because of their design but also because of their colors. Our brains process visuals 100,000 times faster than just plain text, making colors a crucial element in marketing strategies.
