On a day that saw Ethiopian Sisay Lemma triumph, Vincent Kipchumba of Kenya came second for the second time in the 2021 men's London Marathon, which took place on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

Lemma, 30, bounced back from his disappointing finish at the Tokyo Olympics in August, where he failed to complete the marathon, to claim the London title in a time of 2 hours, 4 minutes, and 1 second.

Kenyan Vincent Kipchumba finished second in 2:04.28, while Mosinet Geremew of Ethiopia secured third place in 2:04.41.
