On October 6, 2019, a devastating incident occurred in Likoni, Kenya, when a car fell off the Likoni ferry into the Indian Ocean, claiming the lives of two people.
A rescue operation was launched, and on October 11, 2019, the car was finally recovered from the ocean floor.
The bodies of the mother and daughter were found inside the car, bringing closure to their families.
