On October 2, 2019, radio presenter Tanasha Donna welcomed her first child with Tanzanian musician Diamond Platinumz. In a recent Instagram Q&A session with her fans, Tanasha revealed the details of her childbirth experience.
According to Tanasha, she labored for 17 hours before giving birth naturally, without any epidural to alleviate the pain. Despite the excruciating pain, Tanasha expressed her willingness to go through the experience again for her child.
“17 hours of labor, it was long, stressful, and the pain was excruciating, but when I look at him, I would do it all over again. It was a natural birth, no epidural, as much as I begged for one at some point when I couldn’t take it, though I am glad they didn’t give it,” Tanasha said.
When asked about her seemingly flat tummy just a week after giving birth, Tanasha attributed it to individual body types and diet. She emphasized that everyone's genes and hydration levels play a significant role in post-delivery recovery.
The couple has yet to reveal the name of their child.
