On October 6, 2019, Tanzanian crooner Diamond Platnumz was honored at the Best of Africa Awards in London.
The Utanipenda hit singer received the award in recognition of his efforts to make music more accessible to young people in East Africa.
Accompanied by his manager Salam, Diamond Platnumz expressed his gratitude to his team, Wasafi, and fans for their support during the exclusive event.
Other notable African celebrities who received honors at the Best of Africa event included Ghanaian artiste Ivorian player Wilfried Zaha, Fuse ODG, and Rwandan footballer Eniola Aluka.
Following the ceremony, Diamond Platnumz and his entourage, comprising both male and female friends, celebrated in London.
It's worth noting that this is not the first instance of Diamond Platnumz being spotted with other women in the absence of his partner, Tanasha.
Two weeks prior, he was allegedly involved in a controversy surrounding a woman from a club in Tanzania.
