Published on October 9, 2019, Bahati announced that he is seeking three talented Kenyans to sign to his record label, EMB Records. He plans to promote their content and make them stars.
Bahati made this announcement through his record label's social media account. However, his past experiences with some of the signees have been marred by controversy.
One of the notable signees who left EMB Records was Weezdom. He parted ways with Bahati after being spotted hanging out with Willy Paul during their heated beef. Bahati even went as far as deleting Weezdom's videos from the EMB YouTube account. Fortunately, they have since made amends.
Another former signee, Mr Seed, had a falling out with Bahati due to an incident at the EMB New Year's concert. Diana Marua, Bahati's wife, called the police on Nimo Gachui, Mr Seed's then-fiancée. This led to Mr Seed setting up his own record label.
For those who believe in their talent and are willing to take the risk, Bahati invites interested individuals to contact the EMB FG account.
