On September 22, a disturbing incident occurred in Kiambiu, Kamukunji, Nairobi, where a 16-year-old boy allegedly defiled his 4-year-old step-step sister.
The minor, a student at Makongeni secondary school, was arraigned before a Makadara court on charges of defilement.
According to reports, the matter was first brought to the attention of church elders, who then involved Nyumba Kumi officials before the victim was taken to hospital for medical attention.
During the court proceedings, the accused denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Heston Nyaga and was released on a Sh300,000 bond.
The case will be mentioned again on October 14.
