Published on October 2, 2019, Manchester United have traveled to the Netherlands for their Europa League match against AZ Alkmaar without Paul Pogba.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has taken a 21-man squad for the clash, but the World Cup winner will not be part of the team due to a foot injury.
The injury, sustained in August during the match against Southampton, has left Pogba struggling to recover, and he has been left behind for 'a period of further rest and conservative treatment.'
He joins a list of injured players, including Anthony Martial, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw, and Phil Jones, who will also miss the match.
Wan-Bissaka was absent from Monday's match against Arsenal due to tonsillitis, while Shaw continues to rehab a hamstring injury.
However, Diogo Dalot and Angel Gomes have been included in the squad after recovering from injuries, and left-back Brandon Williams is one of 10 Academy graduates who make the trip.
Manchester United currently tops Group L, having secured a 1-0 win over Astana in their opening match.
