On October 1, 2019, firebrand Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa made a shocking move by ditching Deputy President William Ruto, just hours after the official expiry of the old sh1, 000 notes.
Speaking after officially parting ways with Team Tangatanga, Jumwa vowed to vigorously campaign for Imran Okoth for the Kibra Parliamentary Seat.
Her decision came after attending a party Parliamentary Group meeting at County Hall, chaired by Party Leader H.E. Raila Odinga, where Imran was introduced to the members.
