Ben Kitili, a well-known news anchor at KTN, and his wife Amina Mude have parted ways after barely two years of marriage.

According to Amina's Instagram post, the couple has decided to go their separate ways, but they are grateful for the memories they shared during their union and the two beautiful children they have together.

Amina, who is a Muslim, had earlier revealed that their different religions were an initial challenge in their marriage, but she said her parents eventually accepted Ben.

However, it appears that the couple's differences were insurmountable, and they have decided to separate.

Ben and Amina tied the knot at the Attorney General's Chambers on November 16, 2018, and later had a low-key ceremony at a Nairobi hotel.

They have two children together, a boy named Roman Hami Kitili, and a daughter.

Ben had earlier responded to critics who questioned their marriage, saying that God is more important than religion and that they forgive those who are not welcoming of their union.
