On a heartwarming display of sportsmanship, Mary Moraa, a 2017 World Under-18 silver medalist, donated running kit to Jeanine Keazimana of Burundi during the Under-20 championships at Kasarani on August 23, 2021.

Keazimana, who finished tenth in the women's 3000m event, was competing in worn-out rubber shoes instead of running spikes, a situation that touched Moraa's heart.

Speaking to the press, Moraa said, 'I saw what she was competing in. It touched me, not many years ago I was in the same condition. I know how difficult and expensive it is to get running equipment, and now that I have them; I saw it was right to help her out.'

Moraa, who is currently signed to Belgium sports management giant Golazo and kitted by Nike, is known for her generosity and kindness in the sports community.
