On Saturday, July 10, 2021, a suspect was arrested in Nairobi's Eastleigh area after a 25-kilogramme parcel he was attempting to send to Moyale was found to contain a large explosive device.
According to a police report, the officers apprehended Collins Odhiambo at the offices of Moyale Liner Bus Services on 10th Street, Eastleigh, where he was preparing to send the parcel via a public service bus.
Mohamed Abdulahi, the manager of Moyale Liner Bus Services, alerted authorities at 1:30pm after suspecting the package.
The suspect is being held at the Pangani Police Station as investigations continue.
