On June 24, 2021, a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) chopper crash-landed at the Ol Tepesi area in Ngong, Kajiado County, sparking fears of deaths and injuries.
According to a KDF statement on Twitter, the chopper was on a training mission when it crash-landed at around 9 am.
“Today at around 0900hrs, an Mi 171e Air Force Helicopter, on a training mission crash landed at the Ol Tepesi area in Ngong, Kaiiado County,” the statement read.
A rescue mission is currently underway to attend to any possible casualties.
