Today, we have learnt of the horrific treatment of staffs and interns at Tusky's. Interns for instance are overworked and underpaid. Kshs. 10,000.00 to be precise.
They are also not remitting National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) monies on behalf of staff.
Tusky's also subject their staff to fatigue and stress by forcing them to sometimes serve customers while standing for prolonged periods.
Workers at Tusky's are also put on a 10-hour shift per day, contrary to laid down guidelines.
For how long shall this be allowed to continue?
