Will Mugabe Save Ruto from the ICC Gallows ?

Africans can be funny people sometimes. There is this quote that Mugabe made sometimes back “ Racism will never end as far we use black tyres on our cars “ . Well, Mugabe is known to oppose the West by calling them thieves and Foreigners who want to steal Africans minerals. At the Age of 90, Mugabe is not ready to step down and let a younger person steer Zimbabwe forward now that the country’s economic situation is wanting. Mugabe is the only Leader Zimbabwe has known since 1980.He has occasionaly been accused of gross human rights violation, Rigging elections and limiting fundamental freedoms of the Zimbabwean populace. This Prompted the United states and European Union to impose sanctions on Uncle Bob after the 2002 and 2008 elections . But it seems the other African leaders have confidence that Mugabe is the man whose time has come. On Friday, Mugabe was made the AU Chairman by other African leaders. Kenya has serious grievances against the hague based court and that is why they seriously supported Mugabe’s chairmanship probably because of his hate toward the West which is viewed as an enemy of Africans. The West has also been accused of being behind the blackmailing of African leaders using the ICC as the weapon. So what unique thing did they see in Mugabe..You ask? Mugabe hates the west and he will support the formation of a local court to save William Ruto. President Uhuru pledged to contribute a tidy sum of 90 Million toward the formation of the court …Poor Kenyans money of course. This is being done as Kenyans suffer biting inflation, high cost of living, Unemployment and even hunger and starvation that has made some Kenyans eat dogs to save themselves. Kenyans are suffering but it is heartbreaking that our leadership never went to Ethiopia to come up with solutions . They all flocked Ethiopia to come up with ways of nurturing impunity and poor leadership. We have leaders who will never help this country in any way. If you look at Jubilee’s election promises, you will realise that all of them have expired, this moribund government has failed to deliver. And voter boobs will re-elect Uhuru. Uhuru has spent a better part of his term fighting the ICC instead of delivering. Youth empowerment was a joke. If you ask me, I will tell you that leadership is not a cake walk for peopl who are not prepared.
