20 Machakos MCA's are planing to impeach Alfred Mutua immediately the assembly reconvenes. According to sources, plans to impeach him are at an advanced stage with the MCA's doing all they can to win the support of other MCA's
Alfred Mutua has been accused of Running a PR Government that is out there to fool his people yet development isnt the main agenda. Mutua, who for a very long time received praises from Kenyans came under fire in recent times after photos of the new 33 km road built in 3 months surfaced, showing the road in dilapidated conditions. He however said the photos were fake by issuing this statement Can those spreading propaganda & fake photos of the 33 km Kithimani to Makutano ma Mwala road please take a PERSONAL drive & videotape/ film it. They should also talk to engineering experts and to residents served by the road. The road is perfect, has a strong base and double seal chippings with bitumen. Those criticizing it are clearly part of an orchestrated campaign and do not understand road construction. Our message: we will continue serving the people of Machakos with deligence, squeezing every shilling so as to give more to our people who have languished in poverty for years. We are in a new Kenya. We will not be cowed. We have just started! Service to the people. However, Alfred Mutua has rubbished the impeachment threats saying he will keep working for his people. The MCAS have vowed to impeach him and install Kiala. He said he is in good terms with 40/59 MCA's and the few making noise should keep quiet.
But there is a hidden hand behind Mutua's troubles. The MCA's have been paid to finish him. The plan is that if the motion fails, the MCA's are planning to go ahead with collection of signatures from residents . Is Machakos another Makueni county in the making ?
