Yesterday, General Kibochi oversaw the deployment of first batch of 903 KDF soldiers to DRC for a peace keeping mission. We can confirm that the highly experienced troops has landed in Goma ready to fight M23 rebels in the DRC in a joint regional operation. This Kes4.6 billion six months KDF operation follows the approval by the National Assembly Defence committee after a request made by President William Ruto last week. M23 Rebels have been a terrible omen in DRC with reports that the rebels are enjoying financial sponsorship from the West in exchange of the natural resources they are smuggling overseas. According to international media, powelful West is planting its M23 rebels in the resource rich region in DRC to partner with the jihadists...
