Were Condoms found in Pastor Ng’ang’a’s accident car ?

Even as the Inspector-General of Police Joseph Boinnet questioned the integrity of officers who handled an accident scene in which Mercy Njeri died after the vehicle she was travelling in collided with another at Manguo in Limuru, we have since discovered that there was more than meets the eye in the accident. We have since gathered that the Neno Evangelism preacher James Maina Ng’ang’a was in the red Range Rover which caused the accident but he allegedly disappeared immediately after the accident after several packets of unused condoms were found in his car. Sources say Ng’ang’a feared if he continued being at the scene, the discovery of condoms in his car was going to impact negatively on him more so, after social media went viral following his pending divorce case. It is against such fears that he is said to have compromised police officers who rushed to the accident scene and who eventually exonerated him. According to sources who were the first to arrive at the scene, Ng’ang’a seemed tipsy and it is suspected he was speeding to a social meeting. Investigations reveal that things are not well in his marital circles after his estranged wife decided to wash the family’s dirty linen in court, dismissing the man of cloth as an abusive and adulterous drunkard. In a child support case filed on September 2 2014 at the Milimani Children’s Court in Nairobi, Loise Murugi Maina accuses the pastor of assaulting her physically and not providing for their child. “He was a drunkard and very abusive towards me to the extent of insulting my parents. I also later learnt that he was adulterous, sleeping with staff and even bringing married women to our matrimonial bed,” Murugi claims in the court documents. She took issue with the pastor’s alleged behaviour of texting and calling other women while in the house, which she claims caused her emotional pain. Ng’ang’a married Murugi after his first wife with whom he had four children passed on. The two tied the knot in a colourful ceremony at the Windsor Golf Club in 2012. The wedding was attended by among others, the then vice president Kalonzo Musyoka. Back to the accident, the disputed police report show that the pastor was not driving the Range Rover before colliding with another vehicle, a Nissan. But emerging reports have suggested otherwise and that pastor Ng’ang’a may find himself in the dock. It is said after Ng’ang’a compromised the traffic police officers and left the scene of crime, his aide Simon Kuria was also compromised to accept that he was the one driving at the time of the accident. He was last week arraigned in court and was released on Sh100,000 bond. Sources say the Range Rover that caused a fatal accident had its number plate changed by the National Transport and Safety Authority. The vehicle’s previous owner, identified as Alex Kamweru, wrote to the NTSA renouncing its ownership. Eye witnesses said the Range Rover Sport was being driven by the pastor, but police denied the reports saying it was driven by Simon Kuria. Its insurance had expired.
