After all was said and done, former CS Devolution Anne Waiguru recently made sensational claims that her life is in danger. Were there specific threats or was she simply pre-empting an occurrence that had become the norm during the Jubilee era?
A helicopter took off Wilson Airport one Sunday morning, but unfortunately crashed in the Ngong Forest killing it's occupants who included the country's Chief of Security, and custodian of all internal security operations. Compromised media were paid to pacify the masses. Prior to take-off, the minister had met US Diplomat Johnnie Carson and allegedly handed over some files. We can only speculate on the contents inside.
Another senator was at his ranch. Accounts differ as to who he was with, what/who he was doing, but what isn't in doubt is the fact that he died of supposed cardiac issues. Media again were at hand preaching peace and tolerance at that difficult time. We accepted all official explanations despite glaring discrepancies, because that's what we are; dumb and naive Kenyans who are puppets of media narratives.
Then a prominent former whip collapsed while having a drink with his friends. Witnesses in his case are slowly twisting the narrative, with his longtime doctor recently lying under oath while trying to shift blame to a junior doctor. Recently the wife was in court for a deal worth 1B. Rumor also has it that the late individual together with a prominent opposition member had been in contact with operatives of the ICC and he was being convinced to testify against those that wept during his funeral.
Knowing this all too well, Anne Waiguru swiftly reported to the police that her life is in danger. But who would want to kill her? Did she share the NYS loot with someone high up, who could have been involved in the murders listed above? Were they lovers at some point? Does she have damning personal information that can tear the coalition whose foundation is built on quick-sand?
Yes indeed we need Anne Waiguru alive. Not because we love her or endorse her nursery-school embezzlement manoeuvres. We need her alive because one day we will get a Government that we deserve. It will set up commission of inquiries into many deaths for the sake of posterity and closure. We need her to testify.
Then before I forget Anne Waiguru, you need a solid man with you. One that can stand with you and by you. Not one you're always hiding behind the shadows with, looking over your shoulders and wondering if paparazzi are trailing you, but your own man. We'd propose Mutahi Ngunyi but he's got too many problems of his own right now. Getting advise from frustrated feminists will simply drive you deeper into a black hole.
Finally Ms. Waiguru, don't trust emmissaries being sent your way to try and strike a truce. Americans have a policy of non-negotiation with terrorists which equally applies to you. There is no way you can seat at the same table with the people who now want to sacrifice you. Keep your circle tight. Meet David Murathe at your own peril.
