Still about the VIVO WOMAN Wandia Gichuru’s Reign; we in the sales team at the stores do not meet Wandia often but we are not safe from her wrath either and I guess it contagious.
There are 3 regional managers:
EMILY- this one will make them call you to the office a thousand times over store issues she can handle but would rather get your name dirty all over the HQ. She will spend the whole day telling you personal stories of her and her co-wife. Apart from her super bad breath, she has kept a name for herself because of her stinky dirty hair (she does it twice a year, yeees twice!!!)
ESTHER Njuguna - She insists she prefers the name Wamuhu (like we care). She is the most dumb of them all. This one you will identify from a group; she has around two kilos of makeup that makes her look like a zombie. She speaks before thinking and very good at gossip. Her honey pot pays bills for her.
CAROL- this one is mature, and approachable. Something that makes it quite easy to associate well with the rest. However ni kigeugeu. She is allies with the one she is standing next to so when she moves her alligence moves with her. We had hoped that because she became a regional manager, our concerns would be well addresed but shock on us.
There is Patrick the HR. Someone described him as one with 'no brains but a swollen head', which I totally agree. He has enticed some ladies fellow colleagues to sleeping with him despite being 'a man of God'. I must say the rewards seem good when you have the extra marital affairs with him. Elizabeth Thuo is now a manager and gets to know what is going on first hand in the company thanks to the numerous meetings and phone calls they have. She gets the golden opportunity even of chosing which store she would like to manage and Patrick is on her speed dial for beck and call.
Stephen the Senior accountant is a very clever Kikuyu, if you know you know, he has his cards well placed and played. He is the madam boss when Wandia Gichuru is not around.
The bottom line is; this is a shit hole company.
We may pretend we like it but most of us are here because we need jobs.
