The swearing-in ceremony that was done at a quarter to 1 pm was marked with ululations from supporters of Kiambu's Deputy Governor and former Rockefeller Foundation Boss James Nyoro. The presiding judge was John Justice John Onyiego in the presence of Kiambu Chief Magistrate Patricia Gichohi. Ferdinand Waititu was this week successfully impeached following gross misconduct charges on him. Mr. Waititu yesterday tried to stop the swearing-in ceremony but Justice Weldon Korir declined to grant him that wish. Judge Korir instead maintained the parties should appear on Monday before Justice James Makau for hearing inter parties as had earlier been directed.
