I have to share with you something about GCC centres where their medicals (Bayan Medical Centre) are done so as to travel to Kuwait, Bahrain, and UAE. These people are taking advantage of Kenyans. You pay 10,500 for the medical but they won't release the medical results, either fit or unfit. Personally, I went there and did my medical because I am travelling and I have a ready visa which is almost expiring. I went there on 2nd May for the medical but till today I have not received my results. Upon asking, they say I have a "habit of inflammation," so I asked the lady nurse if there is medication for this. She said, "Hio si ugonjwa, we enda nyumbani utakuja after 5 days." I went back only to be told the results are not out yet and I have to go for another x-ray. I took the x-ray and was told to come back after two days. I went for the results but they still kept me waiting, and finally, they said I should redo another x-ray. I did, but till now I haven't received any results after three x-rays. I went to my chest doctor but the x-ray is okay. When I was there, I talked to a few people who were also there, and to my surprise, Bayan is not issuing any results or medication for people, and some visas have even expired.
