[Videos] How the government shortchanged innocent land owners in Gatundu through Mohammed Swazuri

I would like to bring a story in Gatundu North Constituency, Kiambu County to your attention.

This is the home to Kenya's most useless president ever. Actually the place where this whole story is happening is less than 15km from Ichaweri. This means the story revolves around Kumira Kumira battalion.

Unfortunately, this story is only ran in Kikuyu stations and I would like the rest of the nation to hear about this story full of irony. I know you have a large following from people from all-over the country and that's why I need you to amplify this.

There is this dam being constructed in Karimenu River. The dam is the largest in Kiambu, so it will eat up a lot of the residents' land. The residents negotiated with the government, then the government shortchanged them and they cancelled the awards. They gave other awards which were so low that the residents went for a demonstration over the low payment.

This administration was fuming with anger, “How can you shame the president” is a motto in Mount Kenya where you can do anything but criticize their “god”. This is where things started to get serious; harassment and intimidation of people.

Mkipatikana more than five people in the same area, you had to explain what you are doing. The government started to curtail even their freedom of movement which is guaranteed in the constitution. People were in Buchana Catholic church for choir practice, a government vehicle pulled over and demanded all people to leave. Some were even threatened.

Late last month, the government led by Chepala’ngui’ the CS for water, NLC Boss and few politicians from Kiambu had a meeting with the residents. They agreed to pay Ksh. 3m per acre (videos below), but when the award signing came it was Ksh. 2.6m.

Unfortunately, most people who were there to sign the awards were mostly old people who are illiterate because the meeting was organized hurriedly. Those who failed to sign or seemed to ask too many questions were threatened and thrown out of the event.

This is the Kenyan governments folks, they lie, threaten and intimidate people. The biggest threat to any Kenyan right now and everybody should know, is the current government. In any dealings with it, be very smart. Do not take anything they say at face value.

Here are my thoughts, this place voted for the most useless president ever. 100% votes went to him, that is in 2002, 2013, and twice in 2017. My thoughts are Uthamaki is a scam to enrich few individuals, they simply do not care about common mwananchi. I have talked to a few people and some of them, not all of them are starting to understand Uthamaki is a scam. They are probably too late but their eyes are now open.
