Twitter suspended the account of Senior Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi after malicious targetted reporting, in a coordinated effort run by local agencies( ScanGroup) and its employees. The suspension happened the same day Twitter executives landed in Kenya to popularize their advertisement gigs. The Twitter executives met with government officials and attended a Safaricom Blaze event. The blaze event was organized by ScanGroup, the agency whose employees have been lobbying for the suspension of Nyakundi from Twitter.
