Her trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was part of the prize package for winners of the competition held in September.
Mensah was set to make the sponsored trip alongside the two runner-ups, Maafia and Gaza, according to reports in the West Africa nation.
She was allegedly stopped from boarding the plane because she reportedly could not fit on a single seat in the Emirates Airlines' plane.

In an interview with Atinka TV ahead of the trip to Dubai, an excited Ms. Mensah said: “I’ve heard of the tallest building and an exceptional fountain. I want to see and learn about them. I also want to go and study the culture of Dubai and a host of others.”
After the airline rejected her at an airport in Accra, a disappointed PM had no other option than to return home.
The grand finale of ‘Di Asa Season 3 was held on September 28th, 2019, where PM won the hearts of many after a grueling four rounds of different genres of dances.
She was the biggest plus-sized woman among all the 47 contestants that were hosted into the ‘DI ASA house for three months. She went home with a brand new Hyundai Elantra. The award was presented to her by the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Cynthia Morrison and the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barbara Oteng-Gyasi. In addition to receiving a cash prize of GHC2,500, PM received $500 from the two ministers for shopping when she travels to Dubai.
