Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong'o has publicly asked Margret Kenyatta to ask Uhuru Kenyatta to run for president in 2022. During an event in Kisumu on Thursday, Nyong'o told Margret that Kenyans were waiting for Uhuru to present his nomination papers.

Nyong'o also praised the recent handshake between long time rivals Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga in March this year and said it was vital in bringing back peace to the country. Uhuru Kenyatta is currently serving his last term in office in what will be remembered as ten years marred by corruption, electoral injustices, joblessness and a huge national debt with nothing to show for it.
